Food packages donated to 100 poverty-stricken Muslim families
Food packages were distributed Friday to hundred poverty-stricken Muslim families on the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day and the end of Ramadan.
The distribution of packages, provided by the Red Cross of Macedonia and KAM markets, is supported by the ministries of economy and labour.
"The Republic of Macedonia must continue developing as a country where multi-ethnic and multicultural way of living and cooperation is an example for all the countries in the world," Minister of Labour and Social Policy Spiro Ristovski said.
Congratulating Ramadan Bayram to Muslim believers, Economy Minister Valon Saraqini said that today's example of donating aid to citizens needed to be followed "not only by state institutions, but also by companies."
