Defense Minister Fatmir Besimi and the Chief of the ARM General Staff, Major General Goranco Koteski met Wednesday with members of the military police contingent after successfully concluding their mission in Afghanistan.

Peacekeepers carried out their duties as part of the mission for training Afghan members of the military police, MoD said in a press release.

"It is a great pleasure with this ceremony to honor our servicemen who in the past six months were part of the armed forces within the ISAF mission in Afghanistan. I believe I share the feeling of pride with the attendees for demonstrating once again as ARM members that we have risen to the occasion to participate in serious and complex tasks," the Chief of Staff said in his speech.

Minister Besimi wished the servicemen welcome congratulating on the successfully completed mission.
