Vice-Premier and FinMin Zoran Stavreski handed over Saturday in Skopje the first certificates for accountants.

The title certified public accountant in being introduced by the the new Law on Accountancy, adopted this July as one of the Government's response to the demands of the private sector, Stavreski said at the ceremony.

"The law has fulfilled the legal vacuum in a sphere that is significant for stable development of the private sector, attraction and growth of investments, and hence for the country's overall economic prosperity," Stavreski said.
