Macedonia, Russia sign memo on cooperation in agriculture
Macedonian, Russian Ministers of Agriculture, Ljupco Dimovski and Nikolai Fyodorov respectively, signed Tuesday in Moscow a memo on bolstering the cooperation.
The document is the first concrete step towards practical implementation of the agreement on cooperation in agriculture, forestry and water supply between the relevant ministries. It will also stimulate the development of the cooperation in regards to exchange of experts and realization of joint projects, Macedonia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy said in a press release.
Both parties will increase and support the investments, as well as the trade-economic cooperation in agricultural sectors, according to the provisions of their national legislations and international agreements, and within their competencies will create favorable climate for successful development of the bilateral projects.
The Ministers underlined the significance of the signed document, which sets legal frames for cooperation in all spheres of the agricultural sector, the press release reads.
