New Ministry of Foreign Affairs building opens
Republic of Macedonia observes the 119. anniversary from the establishment of the Macedonian revolutionary organization - an act that has left permanent mark in the country's history and the creation of an independent and sovereign state, said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski at Tuesday's opening of the new Ministry of Foreign Affairs building.
"We are building and will continue to build with all of our energy and commitment. Pillars of new facilities are erected nationwide - museums, schools, stadiums, sports halls, hospitals, hydro-plants, flats. These are pillars of our statehood, pillars testifying a time of Macedonia's construction, pillars for a better life of all citizens, pillars for future generations. We are building for the future and we will continue in the same way", said PM Gruevski in the address.
Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki stressed that today's event was of a historic importance not only for the country's diplomacy, but also for all Macedonian citizens.
"After 20 years of independence, Macedonia's diplomacy obtains spatial capacities suitable for a future member of the Euro-Atlantic family", underlined Mr. Poposki.
