PM Gruevski: FDI inflow creates new jobs
The seven foreign investments, factories and production facilities, which have started to work in September and October will open new jobs, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on Tuesday.
"We have seven large investments and that is a good trend when compared with some past periods, for example when SDSM was in power - one could hardly count seven investments in its entire governing mandate. We shall do everything in our power to preserve this trend, as it offers opportunity for employment of many people. These factories will also offer jobs to other companies, which will operate as subcontractors or partners," Gruevski said.
These developments are a result of the Government's serious efforts to attract domestic or foreign investments; organization of road-shows abroad and the work of the investment promoters' network.
For the last two months 'Prodis', 'TeknoHose', Skopje City Mall, 'Kemet Electronics', 'VPTEX' 'Bionika Pharmaceuticals' and ArcelorMittal Skopje's new investment - a zinc plating line - have commenced their work.
