FM Poposki meets Macedonia's honorary consul to Romania
Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Poposki met Thursday with a business delegation from the Romanian city of Ploiesti, led by Macedonia's honorary consul to Romania, Aurelian Gogulescu.
The delegation pays a two-day visit to Macedonia.
Relations between Macedonia and Romania were praised, but the need of strengthening the economic dimension of countries' cooperation was highlighted, MoFA said in a press release.
"In this context, FM Poposki welcomed the initiative by the honorary consul Gogulescu and the Romanian business delegation to visit the country in a bid to boost cooperation with wineries in Macedonia," stated the press release.
Aurelian Gogulescu also serves as chairman of the Prahova County chamber of commerce and industry.
The Romanian businessmen voiced their readiness to establish contacts and expand the cooperation in other areas of mutual interest for the countries.
