Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki  held talks Friday with Bulgarian Ambassador to Macedonia Ivan Petkov.

At the meeting, Poposki reaffirmed Macedonia's commitment to building joint future with Bulgaria, based on the European principles and values, respecting of mutual sensitivities, which, inter alia, has been confirmed by the latest correspondence between the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

Pointing out that the Euro-Atlantic integration of Macedonia and the entire region is Macedonia's strategic objective, Poposki said that the latest proposals, initiatives of his Bulgarian colleague Mladenov set a solid base for building good-neighborly relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
