By promoting the new edition of "History" magazine on Wednesday, the Macedonian Association of Historians started marking its 60th jubilee.

The new edition of the magazine, published for 47 years, commemorates the 80th birth anniversary of professor Branko Panov - founder of Byzantology and medieval studies in Macedonia.

The magazine introduces a fresh concept, containing articles by both local and foreign authors in order to be promoted beyond Macedonia.

Its publishing is funded by the Ministry of Culture.

"The magazine is a valuable scientific publication and significant historical collection of scientific works written by esteemed Macedonia and foreign historians," Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska said speaking at the promotion.
