Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski and Minister of Labor and Social Policy Spiro Ristovski signed Sunday a cooperation memorandum with directors of Employment Service Agency Vlatko Popovski and Pension and Disability Insurance Fund Bekim Neziri.

The memorandum enables acceleration of procedures and improvement of services that the Ministry of Transport and Communication offers in the transport and construction sectors.

"Transporters and construction companies had to go to the Employment Service Agency and the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund when applying for licenses. In seven days from now, all these documents will be obtained electronically", said Minister Janakieski.

According to him, the system would prevent the possibility of abuse by transporters and with regards to meeting license criteria in the urbanism sector.

Labor Minister Ristovski said the memo was of enormous significance since it established closer cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

"The memo will result in increase of road traffic efficiency and the procedure of licensing transportation companies, construction companies, and the urban planning section. A system of data exchange is set up, with the registration of employees of exceptional importance to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy", he added.
