Government to build 474 social apartments
The state-owned company for construction and management of residential and commercial property will launch the building of 474 social apartments in five Macedonian cities in 2013.
The Government has allocated EUR 14 million for construction of the apartments, intended for individuals at social risk and other vulnerable groups.
"Public calls will be scheduled, followed by e-auctions of interested construction companies, whereas the one bidding the lowest price will build the apartments", said Government Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Thursday's press conference.
The apartments will be built in Skopje (312), Resen (18), Demir Hisar (25), Kocani (43), and Prilep (76).
The final deadline for the apartments' construction is 2015.
