Scholarships for high school students in 2012/2013 will increase by 25 percent, the Government decided at Thursday's session.

"The scholarships for 220 talented students and athletes are increased by Denar 500 and now stand at Denar 2,700", said Government Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Friday's press conference.

The monthly amounts of 510 scholarships for students with special needs, social welfare, and orphans are also increased.

"The final list of the scholarship holders will be released in the course of next week", added Gjorgjiev.
