Government to co-finance shops for selling Macedonian wines
The Government will co-finance equipping, leasing and staffing of about 30 new special shops/ stands for selling of Macedonian wines.
The shops, which are to opened in the course of this year and employ about 150-200 persons, will be located in central urban areas, border crossings, venues of special historic or cultural significance.
The project will contribute substantially to the development of tourism and trade, Government spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgiev said. It will also support the Macedonian wine producers and create conditions for opening of new jobs, he added.
As planned, public invitation is to be announced for opening of such shops in Skopje, Ohrid, Kavadarci, Berovo, Stip, Strumica, Prilep, Bitola, Krusevo, Gevgelija, Dojran, Mavrovo, Popova Sapka, Kozuf, Skopje, Ohrid airports and Skopje Intercity Bus Station.
