FM Poposki meets EC Director-General for Enlargement Sannino

The European Commission Director-General for Enlargement, Stefano Sannino, within his visit to Macedonia, held talks Tuesday with Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki, who presented the country's Action Plan, based on the EC positive assessment of Skopje-Brussels High-Level pre-Accession Dialogue (HLAD).

Minister Poposki briefed Mr. Sannino on Macedonia's activities and contribution to bolstering the cooperation with the neighbours in favor of preserving the credibility of EU-integration processes, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

He reiterated Macedonia's commitment to ironing the differences over the name with its southern neighbor and readiness for realizing numerous initiatives for boosting the political and practical bilateral cooperation.

Referring to developments on the domestic political scene, Mr. Poposki emphasized the need and significance of institutional political dialogue, the press release reads.
