PM Gruevski regrets Greece refused Fule’s initiative, wants dynamics and solution
I regret that Greece refused the proposal by the EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule for trilateral meeting. Fule’s intention was not to substitute the work of Matthew Nimetz and of the United Nations but he wanted to help, PM Nikola Gruevski stated Sunday answering journalist question after the promotion of two new laboratories at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
Our party immediately accepted his initiative, but Greece has refused it, Gruevski said.
We have approached with good will, intention and faith however other party did not recognise Fule’s good intention and it refused him. We will continue with good moves because we are country that wants this problem to be resolved, and it is good to see who refuses and who accepts initiatives for solution, PM Gruevski said.
I regret that Greece missed this opportunity for making step forward, bringing the relations closer and maybe finding some new idea which will help in finding a solution, he said.
PM Gruevski expressed hope that there will be more initiatives from different sides and as far as we are concerned we will always have initiatives and mood, will and faith in direction to resolving of this problem.
