Probistip gets new water treatment plant
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Deputy PM and Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski and the mayor of Probistip municipality, Toni Tonevski on Saturday put into operation the new water treatment plant in Probistip.
The treatment plant, PM Gruevski said, is part of the first phase for the construction of Zletovica hydro-system, which is crucial in solving the water supply problem in eastern Macedonia.
"The filter station is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Its construction was worth 1.4 million euros," PM Gruevski added.
Funds for this project were provided by the Slovenian government, the Japan Bank for International Cooperation and the municipality of Probistip.
