AGROFOOD 2011 opens at Skopje Fair
Promotion of latest food products, agricultural mechanisation, packaging and transportation, business forums, workshops, debates, lectures as well as bilateral meetings are some of the activities that will take place at the 61st International Fair of Consumer Goods AGROFOOD 2011 from 15 to 19 November.
Companies from Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Great Britain, Slovenia, Turkey, Sweden, France, Japan, Portugal, Poland, India, Belarus, Czech Republic, China, Taiwan and Austria will present their products alongside Macedonian firms.
The manifestation is expected to attract 15,000 visitors, who will have the chance to establish intensive cooperation with exhibitors.
A wine festival is to be organised for the first time at the fair, aiming to promote wine culture in Macedonia.
The Eco-Ethno Macedonia annual event will be also held, offering promotion of local traditional manifestation and potential brands as well as presentation of traditional cuisine from the region.
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ljupco Dimovski is scheduled to open AGROFOOD international fair later in the evening.
