Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina sign three agreements in the field of judiciary

Minister of Justice Blerim Bexheti and his Bosnian counterpart Barisa Colak signed Tuesday in Skopje accords amending three agreements in the field of judiciary.

They include the agreement on legal aid in civil and criminal cases, the agreement on mutual enforcement of court decisions in criminal cases and the extradition agreement.

The need to change these three documents is a result of the new types of legal aid in the field of criminal and civil law, according to minister Bexheti.

Minister Colak said the signing of the agreements amending the three treaties would contribute to improving the cooperation between the countries' judicial organs in the interest of the citizens.

"I hope the signing of these documents will play a role in curbing organised crime, which is the primary goal of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia," he noted.
