An increase of the minimum wage in textile and leather industry by Denar 596 in net amount or Denar 1.471 in gross amount has been announced Saturday at a press conference by Labour Minister Spiro Ristovski.

The decision has been approved at Thursday's session of the Economic-Social Council.

The minimum gross wage in 2013 will amount Denar 10.990 or net wage of Denar 6.859, Ristovski said.

The minimum wage in other sectors in 2013 will amount net Denar 8.050 or gross Denar 12.268.

The Law on Minimum Wage started its implementation as of January 2012.
