Macedonia has quality and safe milk, said Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupco Dimovski after visiting several dairy plants in Bitola on Monday.

Speaking to reporters, Dimovski said he wanted to visit Ideal Sipka, Bitolska IMB and Cermat to see for himself whether quality milk was produced.

In Bitola he was accompanied by the director of the Agency for Food and Veterinary, Dejan Runtevski. He said that controls testing the quality of milk were strengthened.

"Before being put on sale, every package is being checked, thus our consumers should be reassured that products of the dairy plants sold on the Macedonian market are safe," Runtevski urged.
