Macedonia gets 'House of Football'

A new complex of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) has been formally opened Friday in the presence of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and UEFA President Michel Platini. The project was supported by the UEFA and Macedonia's Government.

The new 'House of Football' includes a new administrative building for the FFM and four pitches which will be used for training of the national teams. The center also has one 3.000-seat mini stadium.

"The construction of this complex is yet another investment that will be useful to athletes and a proof that the football is one of the Government's priorities," Gruevski said.

He said the Government allocated EUR 780.000 for the four pitches, while the UEFA supported the construction of the administrative building.

“Let's help sports workers and clubs to enable to Macedonian athletes to score best results in the near future,” Gruevski said.
