Macedonia, Argentina sign agreements on visa-free regime, investment cooperation
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Argentina's Foreign Minister Hector Timerman signed Friday a memorandum on promotion of cooperation in the investment field and a visa liberalization agreement for holders of special types of passports.
"These agreements represent a step forward, creating a favorable terrain for further cooperation. They will enable a more relaxed bilateral cooperation among countries' companies", said PM Gruevski.
The memo on promotion of cooperation in the investment field represents a platform for economic cooperation, enhancement of trade exchange and an opportunity for realization of bilateral investments.
The visa liberalization agreement for holders of special types of passports represents a step forward towards encircling the legal framework over visa-free flow of citizens from both countries.
Gruevski and Timerman saluted mutual relations, urging their development, both in economic and political terms. They voiced readiness for realization of specific projects of mutual interest.
Interlocutors also referred to possibilities for cooperation in the fields of education, IT and other public areas, and exchanged opinions on international economic topics.
