PM Gruevski urges Mexico to annul visas for Macedonian citizens

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met Monday with Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto, referring to numerous topics related to bilateral political and economic relations.

"We raised a number of issues that can further enhance our relations. We asked for annulment of visas for our citizens and expect the procedure to be launched very soon. We have done our job by cancelling visas for Mexican nationals", said PM Gruevski after the meeting.

Interlocutors also tackled the countries' cooperation within the United Nations and voiced commitment over its enhancement. Moreover, Gruevski and Nieto talked over the possible opening of a Mexican Embassy to Macedonia.

"The President was interested in developments over Macedonia's EU and NATO accession, as well as the possibilities for attraction of foreign investors. He urged us to provide additional information, which they would forward to their agency for export promotion, along with the recommendation to chose Macedonia as their business destination", stressed Gruevski.
