Government to award scholarships for doctoral students enrolled at world's top universities

 

The Government announced Sunday competition for awarding scholarships to anyone who will succeed to enroll in doctoral studies in social sciences at one of the hundred most renowned universities in the world or in technical sciences at one of the two hundred most renowned universities in the world.

The competition will be open until year-end and will cover all costs, Government Spokesperson Aleksandar Gjorgjiev said at Sunday’s press conference.

Doctoral studies should be completed in four years after which the candidate will be obliged to return in the country and to work at least 2 years in sectors for each awarded scholarships, Gjorgjiev said.

Next week, the Government will also announce two more competitions for awarding scholarships to students who will enroll at the Faculty of Economy in Prilep, at a specialised programme which is being implemented with the Franklin University in Ohio, US and co-financing students for master studies at University of Sheffield in Thessaloniki.
