The Budget of the Republic of Macedonia realised a surplus of Denar 172 million in April. Total revenues amount Denar 16.657 million and expenditures are Denar 14.485 million, Finance Ministry reports Friday.

Total tax revenues amount Denar 7.092 million, of which the largest inflow is from Value Added Tax (VAT) of Denar 3.419 million, personal income tax  - Denar 959 million, profit tax - Denar 755 million. Excise amount Denar 1.195 million and non-tax revenue amounted Denar 773 million.

Deputy PM and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski has recently stated that the budget is in good condition. The revenue stream in the first four months is meeting the expectations and the payments are completed on time.

Stavreski said that realised surplus will help in leveling the increased expenditures in February and in early 2013 and in March connected to payments to companies and subsidies. The deficit is according to expectations and it will remain so till year's end. We expect projections to come true, Stavreski said.
