French Film Festival kicks off Wednesday evening in Skopje
Noémie Lvovsky's Camille Rewinds (Camille Redouble) will have the honor to open Wednesday evening the sixth edition of the French Film Festival in Skopje cinema Cineplex.
Lvovsky and one of the movie's screenplay writers, Florence Seyvos, will be the guests of honor at the festival's opening ceremony.
After two days in Skopje the Festival will continue to its traditional venue - Ohrid's Cultural Centre 'Gligor Prlicev'.
This year the event will present 10 feature and three short films - the latest product of the French cinematography.
I hope that this Festival will be an event of satisfaction, French Ambassador to Macedonia Laurence Auer told a press conference on Wednesday.
She said the event also presented an opportunity for bringing together the French, Macedonian film makers and for bolstering their cooperation.
For the last six years the French Film Festival has been embraced by Macedonian audience, being enjoyed by the choosiest movie experts, Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska said.
The festival is organized by the Skopje-based French Institute, the Ministry of Culture, the City of Ohrid and Lower Normandy - the French region Macedonia has been cooperating with for several years.
