Ministry of Education and Science will continue in the following school year to implement project 35/45 which enables the adults to complete higher education.

Adult students (male aged 45 and female aged 35) may apply for admission mainly at technical studies on four state universities in Macedonia. The criteria and conditions for enrolment of the students are announced by the higher educational institutions, Education Minister Spiro Ristovski said at Saturday’s press conference.

The quotas are projected in accordance to the labour market needs and number of registered unemployed persons who finished secondary school thus giving them an opportunity to complete higher education according to lifelong learning concept, Ristovski said.

The project 35/45 - higher education for adults was launched in the school year 2010/2011, with more than 1.000 enrolled students in the past 3 years.
