PM Gruevski: Ruling party doesn't favor early elections, which may happen if new development makes them necessary
The ruling VMRO-DPMNE party doesn't favor early elections, but they may happen if a new development makes them necessary, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on Tuesday.
"We are not in the mood for early elections, although the situation on the ground is favorable for VMRO-DPMNE. In this case we would certainly score a victory. We believe that we should focus on further implementation of the program. We however do not rule out the possibility for early elections if a new development forces us to do so," Gruevski said after a meeting with partners of the ruling coalition 'For Better Macedonia'.
