Stavreski meets Liverpool investors

Vice Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski leads the delegation, which presented Macedonia's investment benefits before the Liverpool business community on Monday.

Stavreski highlighted the country's tax policy, including the lowest rates in Europe. Moreover, he presented the favorable business environment recognized by relevant global factors, reforms in doing business procedures, which have been simplified and accelerated, as well as benefits offered by the technological-industrial zones for investors.

The Liverpool Chamber of Commerce hosted the Government's economic team.

The Macedonian delegation, also including Minister for Foreign Investments Vele Samak and Agency for Foreign Investments Director Visar Fida, has held bilateral meetings with numerous companies and paid a visit to companies in the fields of food and retail sale.

During the UK visit, presentations will also be held before business communities in Leeds, Sheffield and London, the Finance Ministry said in a press release.
