The Government has amended the laws on civil servants, enabling increased mobility of administration employees from one institution to another, as well as their increased legal protection, Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev said at Saturday's press conference.

"The amendments clearly define the employees in public enterprises who enter the order of civil servants, in line with Constitutional Court recommendations in the field", said Gjorgiev.

The second significant change towards improvement of the legal protection of administration employees is his/her consent for the procedure of transfer from one institution to another.

"This provides additional legal protection of interests of public and state administration staff, but at the same time goes in line with the mobility procedures towards balancing the surplus or deficit in certain institutions", added Gjorgjiev.
