National Conservation Centre for Cultural Heritage gets new lab equipment
Macedonia is going to have most-solicited lab for treatment of cultural heritage artefacts as a result of the new equipment, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said on Tuesday.
The new equipment for the lab, which is part of the National Conservation Centre, will contribute substantially to future treatment of Macedonia's cultural heritage, especially the conservation and restoration processes, the Prime Minister said.
"This is part of the Government's project for equipping of over 90 labs for researching, scientific and educational purposes in various spheres," Gruevski said.
Thus far a 30-year-old equipment has been on the disposal of the lab, which is operating within the Museum of Macedonia.
