Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski accompanied by Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska, Director of the Agency of Youth and Sports as well as Skopje and Gjorce Petrov mayors Koce Trajanovski and Sokol Mitrovski respectively opened Sunday new multi-purpose sports playground in Gjorce Petrov municipality.

Gruevski expressed satisfaction for being present at the opening of this playground, saying that 15 other playgrounds are in the phase of completion while 21 other are in procedure of construction.

The playground is at an area of 1.100 sqm and fully equipped for futsal, basketball and handball.

The playground, which costs Denar 7 million, will change the sport image of Gjorce Petrov municipality, Gruevski said, underlying that the government allocated large sums of funds for construction of sports halls and playgrounds.

Gjorce Petrov municipality helped in realisation of the project while City of Skopje allocated Denar 1 million.

The project "100 multi-purpose sports playgrounds" is realised by the Government and the Agency for Youth and Sport.
