Capitol Mall & Residence inaugurated
Skopje on Thursday got a new shopping center called "Capitol Mall & Residence" - a domestic investment estimated at 30 million euros, which has created 500 new jobs. The shopping mall, located in the Municipality of Aerodrom, covers an area of 35.000 square meters.
President Gjorge Ivanov and Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski attended today's inauguration where the investor Ajdovan Ademovski presented them with certificates for the support he got while realizing the investment. The opening was also attended by ministers, deputies, diplomats and entrepreneurs.
Capitol Mall & Residence is another successfully completed investment in Macedonia, according to PM Gruevski.
"This shopping complex has its own functional, aesthetic and general significance for the Municipality of Aerodrom and the City of Skopje. The investment is estimated at 30 million euros and many domestic firms and workers were hired during the construction of the new shopping mall. Nearly 500 jobs are created with its opening," Gruevski stated.
He said he hoped that the trends of realization of investments would resume pledging the government would keep on supporting domestic and foreign companies to invest in Macedonia.
Capitol Mall & Residence is a Macedonian investment realized with support by two local banks, according to Ademovski.
"In a period of 18 months, a multi-functional complex was built which will become a modern and pleasant place for all those living in Skopje and Macedonia. Capitol Mall & Residence will make the life in the city better and more beautiful," said Ademovski.
The shopping mall spans on an area of 12.500 square meters on four levels and 8.000 square meters are set aside for a residential area.
The shopping mall includes 62 stores of international and local brands, a restaurant, fast food stands and children's playground.
