All seven hospital wings are reconstructed according to latest standards in the Skopje-based City General Hospital "8 September" including three new freight and two passenger elevators. The value of the investment is over €1 million (Denar 62.2 million).

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Health Minister Nikola Todorov attended Sunday the event promoting the completed reconstruction of wings in this hospital.

Gruevski said that an area of 4.800m2 is reconstructed according to latest standards including excellent working conditions for the employees as well as best conditions for the patients.

I want to express my satisfaction that this phase of reconstruction is completed. This was very important investment but also the result is important, Gruevski said.

He said that yet another phase of reconstruction in the hospital which is to follow is our pledge and our next project.

Health Minister Todorov said that City General Hospital "8 September" is very important health institution not only at the level of Skopje city but for entire country. The competence of the personnel, purchase of new modern equipment and now the reconstruction is actually a completion of entire investment cycle, he said.
