Employment Agency releases subsidized job ads
The Employment Service Agency released Wednesday the ad for subsidized employment of youth up to the age of 29, which is part of the 2014 Operational Plan for active employment programmes and measures.
The Government has allocated MKD 1,17 million (EUR 19,000) for this measure.
The subsidizing model envisages three months of subsidized full-time employment, followed by a six-month obligation by the employer to keep the person on the job or employ another unemployed individual in the same post.
"These are no instant-solutions to the long-standing unemployment problem. However, it is our task to systematically reduce unemployment, while unemployed persons to invest in themselves and accept the opportunities offered by the state", said Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov at Wednesday's press conference.
Ads for training at a familiar employer with subsidized employment, and training for jobs required at the labor market in the traffic field have also been released.
Employment Service Agency director Vlatko Popovski stressed these are pilot-measures, which would be extended depending on the interest by the unemployed and employers.
