The Ministry of Finance paid 1.2 billion denars as subsidies for produced and sold tobacco from the 2013 harvest to over 27 thousand farmers. The financial support for this measure is 60 denars for a kilogram of produced and sold tobacco.

Subsidies were paid to tobacco farmers who delivered tobacco in the registered purchasing companies, such as "Allianz One", "Socotab Bitola", "Strumica Tabak", "Tutunski Kombinat Prilep", "Centro Tobacco," "Dalija Tabak", "Orbit Tabak" "Pasoski", "Tomi Mit Jaka Tobacco" and "Kaveks Balkan".
