Inter-Ministerial Committee on Competitiveness in session
All reforms in Macedonia should resume in order for the better business climate to speed up the economic development, open new jobs and boost the export, Vice-Premier for Economic Affairs Vladimir Pesevski told reporters on Monday, after chairing a session of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Competitiveness.
About a year ago the Macedonian Government asked for World Bank's assistance to this effect, Pesevski said.
Bolstering the economic competitiveness to produce growth is part of the strategy of the WB-Macedonian Government partnership, WB Country Manager Lilia Burunciuc said.
"This is the beginning of a long cooperation with the Government we believe will bring appropriate results on the ground," Burunciuc said.
