Macedonia offers excellent conditions for investment in different sectors. We will use our business contacts to lobby for Macedonia and to attract many successful direct investments here, managers of world-famous companies said after Sunday’s meeting with government’s team.

The US and the UK managers are members of the newly established international council of renowned managers, which aims at providing direct contacts with managers of large companies worldwide on their future investments. The council is organised by the cabinet of Minister for Foreign Investments Bill Pavleski.

The idea is attracting companies to come in Macedonia and to be included in projects of capital investments that would open high-paying jobs. Especially important sectors besides car industry and production of electronic spare parts, are IT sector, tourism, construction, Pavleski said.

Managers of renowned companies said that Macedonia can be an ideal location for companies that want to expand their production and are planning to leave Southeast Asia. The council was also focused on companies that want to enter the European market.

Sally A. Painter Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Blue Star Strategies and member of international council said that team of managers will certainly return in Macedonia especially after the impressions during the past two days from the work of the government.
