A business team, led by Deputy PM Vladimir Pesevski and the director of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion, Visar Fida, presented Tuesday the conditions for investing and running a business in Macedonia to the business community in Pittsburgh, USA.

As part of the Pittsburgh visit, an event will be held in cooperation with the organization "GlobalPittsburgh" bringing together company officials from the Pittsburgh region that are interested in Macedonia's investment opportunities, Pesevski's cabinet has said.

Direct meetings with several global companies having headquarters in the region are also being planned.

Meetings with the management of several companies from the metalworking industry, automotive industry and the industry covering the production of high quality protection work equipment are due to take place to discuss the benefits offered by the Republic of Macedonia for foreign investments and the conditions in technological and industrial development zones, the press release reads.

The Macedonian business team will also visit the city of Youngstown.
