U.S. companies being informed about Macedonia's investment potentials
U.S. companies interested in expanding their production capacities on the territory of Europe will be informed Wednesday about the investment benefits offered by the Republic of Macedonia.
The investment opportunities are set to be presented in Youngstown by Deputy PM for economic affairs Vladimir Pesevski, director of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion Visar Fida, Macedonia's ambassador to the United States Zoran Jolevski and economic promoter Dejan Velickov at a forum organized in cooperation with the regional chamber of commerce.
"The tour of U.S. cities is being realized successfully so far. We are visiting cities that have never been visited before. There is a significant number of production companies with global operations. It is particularly important that in addition to business forums in every city, we also have a chance to hold direct meetings with the management of several global companies and present the benefits for investing in Macedonia," Deputy PM Pesevski stated.
As part of the Youngstown visit, separate meetings are due to take place with several global companies in the metal industry that have shown interest for the investment conditions in Macedonia, in particular for the investment opportunities in the technological and industrial development zones.
