Innovations Fund to connect subjects with international organizations for project funding
The Fund for Innovations and Technological Development is set to prepare a program in a bid to provide advisory and logistical support for connecting interested subjects with international organizations that finance this type of projects.
This was concluded at yesterday's session of the Committee for Entrepreneurship and Innovations, chaired by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, which paid a special attention on the use of international sources regarding the financing of projects in the sphere of innovation and entrepreneurship by state institutions and the private sector.
The Committee also discussed the progress made in implementing the Innovation Strategy reaching a conclusion that it is being implemented in line with the envisaged plan and dynamics.
Opportunities for support of Macedonian companies and innovators through the fund's instruments for innovations and technological development were also analyzed, which are intended to strengthen innovation potential, the number of innovations and entrepreneurship improvement.
Comparative analysis from European countries involving modalities for enhancing cooperation and partnerships between universities and firms was also reviewed at the session.
The session was also attended by officials of the Alliance of Associations for Technical Culture and the Alliance of Inventors.
