PM Gruevski: Macedonia already on map of foreign investors
Macedonia is already positioned on the map of foreign investors. This year at least 20 new companies will start operating and create new jobs in Macedonia, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski says in an interview with TV Sitel.
"In my New Year’s address I’ve said that at least 20 new companies are expected to open their plants this year. Many of them have already announced their investment plans. There are also other announcements to that effect," Gruevski says.
He also points out that Macedonia has registered the forth best growth rate in Europe last year. It also has the lowest debt, which is a great achievement.
The crisis in Europe has affected both the EU and non-EU countries. 2009 was the most difficult year, but the Government kept on with its projects, capital investments that helped the country to recover from the crisis, Gruevski says.
