Italian IT company to invest in Macedonia
The Italian IT company "DFLabs" will invest in Macedonia. Its CEO Dario Forte and Davide Boschiroli - Products Development and Incident Response Coordinator - are already paying a visit to Macedonia to register the firm and launch the employment process.
At least 20 highly qualified programmers from Macedonia are planned to be hired.
DFLabs is a renowned IT company specializing in cyber security and forensic analysis, which collaborates with international companies including IBM and NATO.
Their visit to Skopje comes as a result of the activities conducted by Macedonia's economic promoter in Italy.
"We've invited officials of the Italian company to visit Macedonia. After several visits in the past three months, we are proud to announce that Italy's DFLabs company has founded DFLabs International in the country. It is an excellent example of a high-quality and emerging business-oriented company that is able to reach a swift decision on starting a business in Macedonia. The company will hire young and talented graduates, who will be paid above-average salaries, at the same time creating transfer of the latest practical knowledge in technology," Minister for Foreign Investments Jerry Naumoff has stated.
The company's management has decided to invest in Macedonia due to its favorable tax policy, operational costs and solid IT infrastructure.
"We met with Minister Naumoff in Italy and we were impressed with his knowledge of our sector and our company. The Minister immediately recognized our needs and had almost all the answers we needed at our first meeting. What is vital is that we have received exceptional support from his cabinet's members. Assistance is available at any time and we have never felt alone. This should serve as an example for many countries, including our own," noted Dario Forte.
In addition to Macedonia, the Italian company considered India, Vietnam and Serbia as options for investing.
DFLabs' top managers also met with representatives of the Ohrid-based University for Information Sciences and Technologies to sign a cooperation memorandum on opening a laboratory at the University.
