Minister of Interior Gordana Jankuloska and the Ministry's Security Sector finalized Wednesday preparations in light of the campaign for the presidential elections, due to begin on March 24.

Each presidential candidate is entitled to security provided by the MoI. Candidates are entitled to personal security, while their teams will have direct communication and cooperation with all police stations in the area of their activities.

"We expect there will be no need for extraordinary security. We can respond to all tasks during the campaign", said Jankuloska.

According to her, communication has also been established with private security agencies.

"If a party decides to use one, they will have to communicate with the MoI regarding developments and event sites", stressed Minister Jankuloska.
