Macedonia has high quality milk, says Minister
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ljupco Dimovski on Saturday as part of his program activities visited dairy plants in Bitola and its surrounding region.
Visiting the Bitola-based dairy plant BiMilk, Dimovski met with its management to discuss the projects realized by the Ministry in cooperation with the company.
"A majority of consumers are convinced that Macedonia has the most quality milk. Something that we can be proud of is the brand BiMilk. The Bitola dairy plant yields top results in meeting all the criteria and increasing its production and investments," said the Minister.
BiMilk in the first quarter of 2014 increased its domestic purchase by 15% as a result of boosted import of high quality cattle from the EU and subsidies awarded to farmers, it has been announced.
