Government announces new EUR 100m-credit line in supporting business community
The Government adopted a set of new measures that would bring vital support to the business community, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told a press conference on Friday.
One of them is related to adopting an action plan of the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion for launching the implementation of the fourth favourable EUR 100 million-credit line.
The Government is also subsidizing the interest rate that is set to a maximum of 5.5 percent.
The funds are earmarked for small and medium enterprises, which by their investments contribute to creating new jobs and increasing of the export rate, Gruevski said.
Most of the funds will be disbursed for financing investment projects, while the remaining ones will be used as working capital loans.
The realization of the fourth credit line is expected to result in opening of 2.150 jobs, the PM said.
