First group of children leaves on free holiday
Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov sees off Tuesday the first group of children to a free holiday in Struga, in the frames of the government's project for supporting children from families at social risk and those who are beneficiaries of social welfare.
This the third summer that we are realising this positive project which is greatly supported by parents who are in difficult financial situation, but essentially for providing free holiday to 2.000 children. The project will last during the whole summer period and will end by end of August, Spasov says.
He said that new group of 100 to 200 children will leave for free holiday every 7 days.
The initiative comprises of various educational, recreational, cultural and entertainment activities.
The member of the Red Cross of Skopje, Suzana Tuneva Paunovska said that the Macedonian Red Cross this year is also joining this government's project.
The project has been implemented since 2012 and so far, 2.000 children have benefited free summer and winter holidays.
