Kriva Palanka gets new multifunctional playground
Kriva Palanka got Sunday a new multifunctional playground, which is part of the Government’s project for construction of 100 multifunctional playgrounds in the country.
The multifunctional playground is constructed according to the world standards and is intended for futsal, basketball and handball at an area of 1.300sqm.
PM Nikola Gruevski attended the opening ceremony and said that top accomplishments in the sport never come by an accident or suddenly but they require many years and continuous investment in the sport.
That’s why the Government is carrying out an overall strategy for progress of the Macedonian sport and construction of sport terrains. Such strategy also includes other capital projects in entire country, as construction of 35 sports halls, 50 football fields, 145 school sports halls, 120 tennis courts and 100 multifunctional sports playgrounds, he said.
In this context Gruevski mentioned several important projects in the municipality of Kriva Palanka among which is the construction and reconstruction of a railroad to Bulgaria and a new technological industrial development zone in Rankovce where Weibo Group has announced to construct several plants and to employ 5.000 people.
Director of the Agency for Youth and Sport Marijan Spaseski said that the investment in sport infrastructure was one of the most important development segments in the sport.
