PM Gruevski meets Czech President Zeman

In the framework of the official visit to the Czech Republic, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met Thursday with President Milos Zeman.

Interlocutors confirmed the excellent political relations at bilateral and multilateral level, which is seen from the high-level meetings between countries' officials.

PM Gruevski referred to Macedonia's reforms towards enhancing standards in all walks of life, meeting of European standards and improvement of citizens' standard.

Gruevski and Zeman voiced support to the enhancement of economic cooperation, commercial exchange and cooperation in the field of investments.

The Macedonian PM highlighted the benefits offered to foreign investors for doing business in the country.

Moreover, he said European and Euro-Atlantic integration remained Macedonia's strategic objectives.

President Zeman reaffirmed the Czech support to Macedonia's EU and NATO integration and positively assessed the Government's efforts for enhancement of the economy and attraction of foreign investments.

In addition, Gruevski and Zeman exchanged opinions on other topics of common interest, as well as regional developments. In this regard, President Zeman praised the role of Macedonian peacekeepers in NATO-led missions.
