Gruevski: 4.300 persons get job through project for employment of young persons up to age of 29
The project for employment of young persons up to the age of 29 is giving the expected results. Around 4.300 persons are employed in only 8 months, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said answering journalist question after the promotion of new books from “Stars of World Literature” edition.
Project provides employer that will employ persons up to the age of 29 to be exempted from contributions payment which is 27% of the gross salary.
The project for which law changes are made will last for two years. It began on March 2014 and it should be completed in March 2016.
We hope that the employers will use the project maximally since it is time limited, Gruevski said.
He also reminded on realization of other similar project which also refers to young persons who want to start own business.
Young unemployed persons can organize themselves and start a business, for which will they are eligible to financial help from the government that can amount up to €23,000. So far, 300 applications have been submitted and around 90% of them are accepted.
The announcements for financial assistance are published every month, and the next will be published at the beginning of November.
